Architectural Theory Workshop // Academic Experience.
Tutor // II semester Arch. BA. Bachelor Curriculum // Universidad Central de Venezuela // 2011.
Workshop in three sessions focused on creating and understanding concept and category trees as well as possible logical branchings from dailyobjects to seize abstract conceptualizations.
Students were asked to schematize a string of aesthetics related concepts, analyzing and describing with one word simple ordinary objects. Discussing the most remarkable aspects to describe their main characteristics, objects and concepts were arranged in parallel through cards to form a rational scheme, in which they discovered how a conceptual system can be moulded rationally and thus theorizing over architecture cannot be a static form of thinking.
